Entry Qualifications
NOTE: Entry qualifications for Ordinary Diploma in Vocational and Technical Teacher Education
- NTA LEVEL 5 (One Year) – Technician Certificate in Vocational and Technical Teacher Education – Possession of the Ordinary Diploma (NTA) Level 6 in any Field (Engineering and Non-Engineering Programmes)
- NTA LEVEL 6 (One Year) – Ordinary Diploma in Vocational and Technical Teacher Education – Possession of the National Technical Award (NTA) Level 5 in Vocational and Technical Teacher Education.
NOTE: Entry qualifications for Basic Technician Certificate, Technician Certificate and Ordinary Diploma in Hospitality Operations and Management, Mechatronics Engineering and Civil Engineering are as follows: –
- NTA LEVEL 4 (One Year) – Basic Technician Certificate in Hospitality Operations and Management – Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes (i.e., D grade or higher) in any subject excluding religious subjects OR Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with minimum of (2) D and National Vocational Award (NVA) level III OR (2) D and Trade Test grade I in the relevant
- NTA LEVEL 5 (One Year) – Technician Certificate in Hospitality Operations and Management – Possession of a Basic Technician Certificate in Hospitality Operations and Management (NTA Level 4) OR Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least one Principal Pass and one Subsidiary in Principal Subjects.
- NTA LEVEL 6 (One Year) – Ordinary Diploma in Hospitality Operations and Management – Holder of NTA Level 5 in Hospitality Operations and Management.
- NTA LEVEL 4 (One Year) – Basic Technician Certificate in Mechatronics Engineering -Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes (i.e., D grade or higher) in 2 of which Two must be among the following Subjects: Physics/Engineering Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or English subject excluding religious subjects OR Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with a minimum of two (2) passes and National Vocational Award (NVA) level III or Trade Test Grade I in the relevant field offered by VETA accredited Institution.
- NTA LEVEL 5 (One Year) – Technician Certificate in Mechatronics Engineering – Holder of a Basic Technician Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechatronics
- NTA LEVEL 6 (One Year) – Ordinary Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering – Holder of a Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Mechatronics
- NTA LEVEL 4 (One Year) – Basic Technician Certificate in Civil Engineering -Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes (i.e., D grade or higher) in 2 of which Two must be among the following Subjects: Physics/Engineering Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or English subject excluding religious subjects OR Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with a minimum of two (2) passes and National Vocational Award (NVA) level III
- NTA LEVEL 5 (One Year) – Technician Certificate in Civil Engineering – Holder of a Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Civil Engineering
- NTA LEVEL 6 (One Year) – Ordinary Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering – Holder of a Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Civil Engineering
