Vision
A centre of excellence in innovation and in the provision of holistic technical education and training.
Don Bosco Technical Training College
A modern, dynamic technical college with a keen commitment to excellence.
Our story
Don Bosco Technical Training College (DBTTC) was registered by NACTE (now NACTVET) on 29 July 2021 in the subject area of Business, Tourism and Planning, with registration number REG/BTP/134. The College received full accreditation on 3 February 2023.
It was established to provide Vocational and Technical Teacher Education with effective teaching pedagogy, and to meet the growing demand for skilled people in Hospitality Operations and Management. Building on that, the College now also offers Civil and Mechatronics Engineering, with Agriculture planned, empowering young people to become economically self-sufficient and improve their lives.
The idea came from the Don Bosco Planning and Development Office (Tanzania) in Dar es Salaam, which links, funds and supports Salesian projects. A gap analysis of technical education in Tanzania showed that many institutions lack trainers who are both technically competent and well equipped to teach. DBTTC was founded to close that gap and to shape young people who contribute to their families and communities through honest, upright living.

A centre of excellence in innovation and in the provision of holistic technical education and training.
A modern, dynamic technical college with a keen commitment to excellence through the generation and delivery of applicable technical skills and knowledge for socio-economic development.
